What a difference a year makes! Better dates, big name British stars, packed houses and live TV coverage every day made for a tremendous six days of racing. And better still London is now the first in a series of four six day races around Europe plus a final one day gala next March. With the much improved media coverage there is no need for us to add anything other than confirming the final result below.
The success of this year’s race means that tickets for London 2017 are already on sale ....

The official start list has now been published. There are plenty of new names plus return visitors and GB has three teams to support even though the total field has been reduced to 16 teams from the 18 riding last year. And the action starts very soon ....

As every fan will already know Mark Cavendish will not simply be a guest but rather a serious competitor at the 2016 edition. And he will be joined by his reigning World Champion madison partner, Sir Bradley Wiggins. A pairing that is almost guaranteed to generate media interest almost irrespective how things go at the Rio Olympics. However if one or both can win a medal there then it will be standing room only in the press area ...

Tickets for London Six Day 2016 go on sale officially on Wednesday 23 March 2016 via sixday.com – and friends of Six Day London will have an exclusive window to get ahead of the game from Monday 21st March 2016. And if you are a British Cycling member, you will also receive an exclusive window to buy.
Watch out for your emails in the coming days – we will send you a very special link which will come with the opportunity to enter into a prize draw just for Six Day supporters.
Not keen on cancelling half term? No problem, there will be £6 tickets for kids available for every session.
