Most reports of Six Day cycle races concentrate on those held in Europe, some also include Canada and the USA. But few mention the races held in South and Central America. This is not a comprehensive study - rather a basic list so that Spanish / Portuguese speakers know to where to look.

The Buenos Aires Six has the longest history and a great list of competitors - from Europe / North America as well Latin America.
Jorge Batiz won here with Fausto Coppi, Mino De Rossi, Miguel Poblet and twice with Richardo Senn. He was also second here with Ramon Vasquez in 1961 and raced in Europe; twice finishing second in the Madrid Six (with Poblet then Timoner).
However there are few sources of detailed information to be found - apart from “Memoire du Cyclisme”.
